Flowers are a fantastic way of styling your wedding or extending your theme, bringing joy and happiness to the occasion. By using different colours and textures in both the flowers and foliage I can help to set the mood and feeling of your wedding day, by designing bespoke wedding flowers for your special day. From large ‘wow’ installations decorating the ceremony and reception venues, to pretty country bud vases filled with exquisite arrangements on the tables.
Traditionally the bride's bouquet is a special and unique part of her attire for the day, the size and shape of the bouquet is often guided by the bride herself to reflect her personality and overall mood of the wedding.
The Bridesmaids bouquets are usually similar, but smaller to compliment the bride’s. For younger bridesmaids or flower girls, carrying small posey or wand is an option, as is the wearing of flowers in their hair.
The groom, best man and groomsmen typically wear button holes on the lapel of their jacket or waistcoat, complimenting the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets. Other members of the bridal party may wear corsages or button holes which can compliment the bride or can be styled to suit the wearer.

The Design Process

The design process begins with a personal consultation with myself, usually this will take place at my studio, where we can talk through your ideas and aspirations for your big day. Feel free to come with pictures or photos of things you already like, if you have no set ideas at this stage we can use my portfolio and many other resources to provide inspiration.
Once you have some firmer ideas I will prepare a mood board for you with colour schemes, types of flowers and foliage, along with ribbon samples and other materials we may include. This should help you to envisage what the flowers will look like. We will also discuss your budget, how we can make the most of it to ensure it works effectively. Once the final designs are agreed I will prepare a detailed quote.
Once everything is agreed I require a deposit to secure your date. As your plans evolve we can work through any changes you wish to make. Lastly when your wedding day arrives I will bring your plan and vision to life! I love watching the brides reaction when I arrive with the bouquets, it is always a very emotional part of my job, and when the tears of joy and happiness start to flow, I know that I have achieved the brides dream!
