How to make an appointment for a consultation

You can contact me to make an appointment to discuss your wedding flowers, via telephone or email.

Your initial consultation

During our first appointment we will discuss your plans, ideas, themes and what you would like to achieve. I have lots of books and magazines for inspiration if you are not quite sure what you would like. It is always a good idea to bring along a picture of your wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses as well as colour samples so that I can advise on the colours and shapes which will work for you. If you have images of arrangements or bouquets which you like then bring those along too. If you have started to create Pintrest boards then share them with me.

We can then discuss your budget, and I will advise you on how we can get the most out of what you have to spend.

Quotation

After our initial appointment I will send you a detailed quote based upon the ideas and budget discussed. I will include images of the flowers and any props that will be used.

Deposits & Invoices

If you are happy with the quote, then I will ask for a £100 deposit to secure your wedding date. I will then send out an Invoice which is to be paid two weeks before the wedding date.

If you are hiring any props, vases etc. A fully refundable security deposit will need to paid to cover the safe return of these items. The Deposit value will vary depending upon the props hired. This will also need to be paid two weeks before the wedding date.

Colours, varieties and availability

Flowers and foliage’s are living, natural things and are therefore prone to variations in colours and availability. I work with a range of reliable suppliers who always endeavor to deliver the highest quality, however if there is a problem with your order I will contact you and offer suitable alternatives and replacements which you are happy with.

Changes to your wedding order

Four weeks before your wedding I will contact you by phone or email to go through the quote and finalize any details. At this stage it is still possible to change or add to the order. If you have already paid for your wedding flowers I will send out an invoice to cover any additional costs.

Deliveries

On receipt of the money I will then send out a delivery schedule, detailing what is to be delivered, where to and when. I can deliver ceremony and reception flowers as well as the bouquets and button holes. We will need to discuss access times to venues, as change over times from one wedding to another can be restricted. Delivery costs will be included in the quote.

Collection of props

I will need to arrange collection of any props from the venue. This often happens day following the wedding. Can you please arrange to have all items put to one side and easy for me to locate, as access times to venues can be restricted. Once all items have been accounted for and checked for damage, the security deposit will be released.

Care of flowers after delivery

Our care of your flowers ends once delivered. We can not accept liability for any damage to any flower arrangements after delivery. We will advise on the best care for your bouquet(s) and button holes in the time before the ceremony. We will also liaise with your venue planner/organiser to discuss any special requirements for the flower arrangements.
